Ongoing Planning & Communication

Now that your team has learned about the CA MTSS Framework and how it can ensure your LEA successfully implements priorities and practices that meet the needs of each and every student and allows all students to participate in the general education setting, it is important to remember the work is just beginning.

Creating the CA MTSS changes within your LEA takes time, and while some outcomes will be reflected immediately, other positive outcome results will take time and require consistently using the PDSA Cycle for improvement. 

• The MTSS trainings brought you together to BEGIN the work. 
• A MTSS Leadership Professional Learning Community (PLC) will provide your team the committed tie to sustain PROGRESS in the work.
• Developing an effective team, with established goals and norms, and an established PLC that meets regularly and is committed to moving the system forward will lead to SUCCESS.
